The hotel I always thought I would like the best was the Luxor. I like the shape and the light that comes out the top. We only went into the lobby of this hotel and it wasn't what I thought it would be. It is not bad or anything. Just plain and simple like it would inside a pyramid.
My husband's second favorite hotel is Caesar's Palace. I think it is because he is into sports and he knows some big time sporting events take place here.
They have some really neat statues inside.
We spent a lot of time in The Venetian. My husband is part Italian and I love learning about his heritage. One thing I knew I wanted to do was take a gondola ride. The outdoor rides were down for the day so we had to take an indoor ride. The ride is only 12 minutes long but a lot of fun. We rode with another couple that this was their first time in LV as well. We took pictures of each other but ours turned out blurry. Oh well. I got a shot of our gondola driver who sang us Italian songs on the ride. If you are in LV I highly recommend taking a gondola ride. If you are with your honey you will especially like what the Italians do under each bridge!
After our gondola ride we had some gelato which is Italian ice cream. Gelato is full of flavor unlike our traditional ice cream!! My husband had pistachio and I had cinnamon. I sent my MIL (who is Italian) a text and told her we have to learn how to make gelato! In the background of the picture is a lady dressed up as a statue. She would move every once in a while. People would walk up to her stand and put money on the top step.
Here is some 4th of July decor inside The Venetian
Here are a few hotels that we did not go inside but took pictures of them or their signs.
We went through the Paris Hotel and even went up into the Eiffel Tower.
I also recommend going up in the Eiffel Tower. The ride up is sort of scary but once at the top the view is spectacular!! It only costs $20 for two people to go up and you can stay as long as you want. I will share some pictures from the view up there today but will save some for tomorrow as I show you our FAVORITE hotel. (You can double click on the pictures to make them bigger)
See you tomorrow!
XOXO!
