Silver Jackpot!!

Today my co-worker that I normally go to lunch with had errands to run so it gave me the perfect excuse to run to the thrift store by my work. I found some great little finds but my photos are not that great. A certain someone, who happened to live in my womb for 40 weeks, decided to use my camera one day when I was not home and changed some of my settings. I get a headache thinking about how to set them back to what I had them. I mean I could read the users manual but that sounds too easy!

The best part of my find was several silver spoons! Ca-ching! I hit the jackpot today. And at 25 cents each that was a real bargain!

And here is how everything looks cleaned up.

And some sweet saucers to go with my mix match china set I am collecting. I always look up china on replacements.com just for the fun of it after I buy it. The thrift store did not have the matching tea cups but if they did all 4 sets would be worth around $115!! And people just throw this stuff out! I am glad they do!

I didn't get a good picture of all the silver flatware but these are my favorite. They are personalized with a "T". I am slowly getting there in getting a mix match silver flatware set. The hardest to find are the forks. Any pointers?

And just for fun I wanted to show you the flowers in the popcorn tin again. They are thriving so well. I love when I drive up to the house and see them sitting there in all their glory.
